I don't know about you, but I love a good loaf of bread. A while ago, I was brainstorming different flavor ideas one night, and I kept going back to two of my favorite breads to make... pumpkin and banana. So I thought... I love pumpkin bread. And I love banana bread. So why not combine the two?! So here we are with the creation of this loaf of deliciousness.

Ingredients for pumpkin banana streusel bread
All this talking about pumpkin banana bread is making me want to bake up a loaf... If you want to make a loaf, too, here's everything you'll need!
• All-purpose flour
• Baking soda + baking powder
• Salt
• Cinnamon + allspice
• Pumpkin puree
• Ripe bananas
• Unsalted butter
• Eggs
• Brown sugar
• Vanilla extract
That's it for the bread. Now for the delicious streusel topping, here's what you'll need:
• All-purpose flour
• Unsalted butter
• Brown sugar
• Cinnamon
• Salt

How to make the streusel topping
Making streusel topping is way easier than you might think. Basically, all you have to do is combine all of the streusel ingredients in a bowl with a fork until you're left with big clumps of streusel goodness. And that's it.. so simple!

Can I substitute the allspice?
Yes. If you do not have allspice on hand to use in this recipe, you can definitely substitute it. Allspice is basically the combination of multiple spices. To replace, you can use a mixture of nutmeg, clove, and cinnamon.
