Do you ever want fresh cookies, but don't need an entire big batch of them? then this is the recipe for you! This small-batch recipe yields exactly 6 of the most perfect, soft, and decadent chocolate chip cookies!

INGREDIENTS FOR SMALL-BATCH CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

For this recipe, you won't need any fancy ingredients. You'll just need your normal chocolate chip cookies ingredients, just on a smaller scale. Here's what you'll need:

    • All-purpose flour

    • Baking soda

    • Salt

    • Unsalted butter

    • Granulated + light brown sugar

    • Egg

    • Vanilla extract

    • Chocolate chips

    MAKING SMALL-BATCH CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Step 1: Cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar for about a minute until light and fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract and mix to combine.

Step 2: Add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the bowl and mix until the dough forms. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Step 3: Using a medium cookie scoop, scoop the dough onto a plate or small baking sheet. Pop the scooped dough into the fridge to chill for 30 minutes.

Step 4: Once the dough is almost done chilling, preheat your oven to 350F. Roll the chilled dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Step 5: Bake for 14-16 minutes. The edges of the cookies should be just starting to turn light golden brown. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes, then transfer then to a cooling rack.

    TIPS FOR THE BEST COOKIES

♦ Use your favorite chocolate chips! Whether you like milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or something in between, use your preference of chocolate chips!

♦ Don't over bake your cookies. The key to getting soft and gooey chocolate chip cookies is not over baking them. The centers will still be a little soft when you pull them out of the oven, but they will firm up once they cool.
