    Best Ever Blueberry Pancakes

March 15, 2021 by Chrissy Leave a Comment

Is there anything more beautiful on a breakfast table than a big ol' stack of hot pancakes?! If you're team sweet breakfast like me, then these pancakes are definitely for you! They're super fluffy and bursting with fresh, juicy blueberries. And of course, have to be topped with as much maple syrup as your heart desires!

    Ingredients for blueberry pancakes

These blueberry pancakes have just a handful of basic ingredients. Here is a list of everything you'll need to whip up a batch.

    • All-purpose flour

    • Baking powder + baking soda

    • Salt

    • Sugar

    • Egg

    • Butter

    • Vanilla extract

    • Milk

    • Blueberries

    Steps for making blueberry pancakes

These pancakes are SO easy to make! There's just 3 easy steps until you're ready to slather them in syrup and butter, and dig in. Here's what you do.

Step 1: Whisk together the dry ingredients, then add in the wet ingredients (leaving out the blueberries), and mix until smooth.
Step 2: Pour pancake batter onto your preheated griddle and add the blueberries on top.
Step 3: Flip once they've started to bubble. Cook the other side.

And they're done! It's that simple!

Tips for making the best pancakes

Use a measuring cup to portion batter. For this recipe, I use a ⅓ cup measuring cup. Using a measuring cup will help make each pancake the same size.

Don't skimp on the blueberries! I love getting big pops of blueberries in every bite when I have blueberry pancakes, so you want to be sure to add lots of them!
