I can't think of a more classic dessert than a chocolate chip cookie. When I think of baking cookies as a kid, I immediately think of Nestle Tollhouse chocolate chip cookies. We used the recipe on the back of the chocolate chip bag, and they were always so good!
Ingredients for these cookies
These chocolate chip cookies have all of the magic you dream about in a cookie... They're soft, crisp, and slightly chewy all at the same time. They're nice and buttery, and loaded with chocolate. Ohhh my goodness, I need to stop before I start drooling!
Alright, alright... Enough talking, let's start baking! Here's everything you'll need for these cookies-- you only need 8 ingredients!
• All-purpose flour
• Baking soda
• Salt
• Unsalted butter
• Brown sugar
• Eggs
• Vanilla extract
• Chocolate chips
Do I need to chill my cookie dough?
Nope! There's no chilling necessary for this recipe! These cookies are great because they come together in just a few minutes, and since they can be baked right away, you'll have delicious cookies in no time!
Tips for the best cookies
Creaming the butter and sugar. Make sure you cream together the softened butter and brown sugar for at least 2-3 minutes. This helps break down the sugar crystals, and will result in an overall more delicious cookie.
Under bake your cookies. Your cookies will continue to cook on the baking sheet once they're out of the oven.
Be generous with the chocolate chips. What's a chocolate chip cookie without chocolate? Be sure to use the amount in the recipe, and top the cookies with more if desired!

Just tried them and they are amazing. Would decrease the sugar next time or use dark chocolate chips as they would have less sugar.
Thanks for the recipe definitely doing it again!

Hi, Dina! I'm sure dark chocolate chips would be so good in these! So, so glad you enjoyed the cookies! 🙂
